Day
by day, his mother’s health became worse. So finally,
one
day
she
agreed
to
come
church!
She was a cinema addict!
She would even see all the three shows in a day!
One Sunday, she decided to go to church to please her
son and then go to a theatre to see a movie. So she went
to church, with a Christian believer!
The Church service was very new to her. She did not
like it!
She was just waiting for the service to be over so that
she could go to the cinema theatre.
After the service was over, the Pastor put his hand
on her head and prayed over her!
She fell down like a log of wood!
Then the pastor and the believers gathered around her
and prayed for her earnestly!
All the sacred threads and the talismans were removed
from her!
The evil spirit that was tormenting his mother for the
past twenty years started to talk now1
“I want Lakshmi. I want to eat her!” said
the evil spirit!
But… it could
not stand before the power of Jesus Christ!
It tormented her
and finally left her…!
When Brother Srinivasan’s
mother came to herself, she was filled with great joy!
She rejoiced like a child! Her face glowed!

She thought that the Pastor was the source of deliverence!
So she went around him to pay homage to him!
But he told her that it was Jesus Christ who had healed
her!
It was Jesus Christ who had delivered her from the evil
spirit that had been tormenting her for the past twenty
years!
He explained it to her saying,
“Jesus used us as His instruments… that
is all!”
“Jesus is
good!”
“Jesus is
able!”
“Believe in
the Lord Jesus!”
“Hold on to
Jesus!”
“Jesus will
protect you!”
“There is
no God other than Jesus!”
His mother and the Christian sister left the church
and came to the bus stop!
There they saw the big poster of the Cinema that she
was planning to see!
Automatically, his mother looked away and avoided even
looking at the poster!

for 36 hours and a Good Samaritan who did not even
know him took him to the Govt. General Hospital.
His jawbones were broken and the teeth were dislocated.
