“Day after day, we continue to live on the edge…Hoping against the hope, that is miles and miles away”.

These are the words of the victims who had seen the atrocities done by the Hindu fundamentalists on the Christians in Kandhammal District– Orissa on 24th December 2007. The story of the innocent small children who can’t defend themselves goes unseen and unheard. They were taken away from their homes and schools made home less, and lost their child hood joys.

On the eve of Christmas when these children with much joy and expectation came to the churches for celebrating Christmas were attacked brutally. Churches were broken down and when they ran to their homes they were also totally destroyed and burnt. Instead of hearing carols singing “Merry Christmas” they were hearing only loud wails of their parents and relatives. When the whole world was celebrating Christmas with cheers and laughter all these little ones witnessed was a black Christmas.

These children have not gone back to their schools or homes since Christmas 2007. These children and their parents live in a state of no hope for a normal and regular life.

Mission:

· Providing a better future for these victim children by running a children’s home.

· Imparting true Christian values by Bible reading, Morning Prayer, Sunday class and by personal guidance.

The annual expense for one child comes around Rs.9500.00 or $226.20
